Abstract

The collective monograph «Life Online: Digital Transformation of Russian Society presents» a comprehensive study of the development of digital technologies in Russia and their impact on various aspects of life. Drawing on sociological research involving tens of thousands of respondents, the authors explore key dimensions such as the availability of digital infrastructure, everyday digital practices of the population, levels of digital literacy among Russians, as well as the positive and negative effects of digitalization. Special attention is given to the issue of digital inequality and the diverse digital experiences across different social groups. The monograph provides a holistic overview of the current state of digitalization in Russian society, offering substantial scientific and practical value for a broad range of specialists across multiple fields.
