The Russian-Polish scientific cooperation: Main stages

Yazhborovskaya I.S.

Abstract

The article provides an essay on scientific cooperation between the two countries since the post-war reconstruction period; it shows how the researchers tried to exclude the ideologically distorted analysis of history of bilateral relations and to identify the so-called «white spots». The article studies scientific and practical problems, jointly discussed in 2000-s, as well as joint publications of the last 20 years. It also emphasizes the dramatic reduction of funding as an obstacle for further development of joint scientific research.
