The article deals with the organizational structure of political science in the
Institute, established at the beginning of the reform period of the RAS. Provides information about structural units of the corresponding profile in 19 institutes
of the four branches and three research centers of the Academy, are comparative scientometric indices institutions. It is shown that for a variety of parameters
of RAS institutions continue to play a key role in the institutionalization of political science in Russia.
