The article shows the risks that arise in connection with the policy of import substitution and the development of the process of de-globalization of the Russian economy. The need to carry out the deliberate import substitution even in
conditions of an aggravation of Russia’s geopolitical position and search for
the new effective ways to integrate to the international division of labor which
is cardinally changing in conditions of the fourth industrial revolution is confirmed.
