The evolution of the main elements of the national insurance system in China reflects the peculiarities of the country’s policies in the social security field: designation of individual segments of insurance according to geographical criteria and conformity of the system with the social status of the insured. Analyzed are the sources of financing for each of the practiced insurance schemes.
