China’s Presence in Africa: Lessons for Russia

Shalamov G.G.

Abstract

China and Russia are two powers of the modern multipolar world seeking significant positions in modern geopolitics. While the African continent is gradually becoming the center of the struggle for the political and economic influence of world powers, Russia is in no hurry to regain its former positions in Africa. In this context, an analysis of a wide range of instruments for economic interaction between African states and China, which was quite successful, can be valuable for Russia.
