O.I. Kiyanskaya is a well-known Russian historian, author of books about Russian history of the 19th – 20th centuries. Her works are mainly devoted to the 1820s, to the generation of people whom Yu.N. Tynyanov called «the people of the twenties». In this case we will talk about her new book «People of the “Twenties”. Decembrist Sergei Murav’ev-Apostol», published in 2023 by «RIPOL classic». The article notes that this book is devoted not only to the Decembrist himself, his relatives, friends and associates in the secret society.
