The topic of the development of higher education in pre-revolutionary Russia and the role of Moscow University remains relevant and requires both introduction into scientific circulation and the republication of previously published memoirs of professors and graduates of Moscow University. The peer-reviewed collection «Celebrating the 175th Anniversary of Moscow University in the Russian Diaspora (Collection of Memoirs and Materials)» makes a significant contribution to preserving the historical memory of Moscow University, the education system of Imperial Russia, and student everyday life. The book includes materials and memoirs dedicated to the 175th anniversary of Moscow University, written and largely published in periodicals of the Russian emigration in the 1930s. Thematically, the texts range from general discussions of the university’s mission by prominent figures of the emigration to graduates’ recollections of their studies. The detailed introduction prepared by Professor A.V.
