The author analyzes the dynamics of the inflow of foreign investment (FDI)
into the Russian economy, the sectoral and regional structure of FDI, the current state of
the Russian investment climate, risks and factors that prevent the active inflow
of FDI and their effective use. Possible measures to stimulate investment activity
in the context of the implementation of the budget of the Russian Federation for 2017
are studied.
