Factors that helped the Bolsheviks to come to power are analyzed basing on Trotsky’s specific descriptions and thoughts in his fundamental confession work «History of Russian revolution». Lenin's plan of transition to Communist construction in Russia was in flagrant contradiction with social expectations and life plans of the majority of population of Russia in 1917.
