The Reform of Bureaucracy: Comparing the Experience of Great Britain and Russia

Borshchevsky G.A.

Abstract

In the second half of the 20th century the UK and other Anglo-Saxon countries radically reformed the public sector, which served as a model for similar changes in many countries, including Russia. The article describes the reform of the state bureaucracy in the UK under the leadership of David Cameron (2010–2016) and the methods of evaluating the development of public service in socio-economic growth, which allows comparing reforms in the UK and the experience of other countries, primarily Russia.
