The article analyzes changes in the contemporary world order: transition to a multipolar structure and the non-strict hierarchy of international players, pretending to become the center of power in the system of international relations, reinforcing their positions and creating various alliances and units (SCO, BRICS, ASEAN, etc.). The article states that Russia has taken the course to the East, strengthening partnership with Asian countries, and studies measures Russia should take to successfully integrate into the region and gain confidence of the South-Eastern neighbours.
