Abstract

The year 1915 was hard for Russia. The society was anxious about the political situation in the country, especially about the role played by the State Duma. Public opinion bitterly responded to the army defeats in Galicia and the lack of heavy ammunition. People were critical of hazardous economic life in the rear and complained of expensive food prices.
